 Matinée Catalog - matcd039
It's catchy and filled with yearning, with lush strings perfectly meshing with soulful guitar and impassioned words which inquire about whether a loved one is coming back or has moved on to a new chapter of her life.
Dealing with the usual lost/unrequited/new love themes and still blessed with intelligent lyrics that don’t take themselves too seriously, ‘The Chapter In Your Life Entitled San Francisco’, and ‘Sunlight In A Jar’ are outstanding and proof that after a two year lapse since their last album ‘Naturaliste’ they have lost none of their charm.
Despite the cumbersome title, lead single "The Chapter in Your Life Entitled San Francisco" is a marvelous variation on the theme which Tony Bennett made famous (like-minded Lucksmiths' pals Ladybug Transistor used the same inspiration in their song "Massachusetts").

A selection of restaurants in the San Francisco Bay area
Say what you will, restaurants in the middle-class areas of the Peninsula or the East Bay, are far better (not to mention far cheaper) than restaurants in the city.
Plus the atmosphere is slightly better outside San Francisco (no bums panhandling on the sidewalk, no gangsters selling drugs, no psychos wrecking your car) and the weather is warm and pleasant (unlike the constant fog/wind of San Francisco).
San Francisco is pretty much like Siberia or Kurdistan when it comes to restaurants: while the rest of the world starts eating at 10pm, San Francisco restaurants start closing at 9:30pm.
