DUE FIGLI DI RINGO, with Franco Franchi and Ciccio Ingrassia
The hopeless twosome play a pair of con-men who have managed to dupe virtually every town in the West: Franco pretends to be a ruthless bandito, Ciccio pretends to kill him, and they both pocket the money happily proffered by the grateful townspeople.
By this time their comic partnership had experienced over five years of success at the box office, and the formula was already well set: Ciccio playing the slightly more sentient foil to Franco (who often appears to be closer to a bonobo than a human on the evolutionary scale).
As you'd expect, Franco and Ciccio both have plenty of fun with Spaghetti Western conventions, from glasses of beer being slid down the bar to a game of 'anatomical poker' (in which the players have to stake parts of their own body).

REVIEW -- Dr. Goldfoot And The Girl Bombs
Franco and Ciccio are left behind, and the diabolical doctor and his men capture them.
Franco is able to escape by impersonating a girl bomb -- Goldfoot rationalizes this strange looking "girl" as being the result of failing to "oil the machine" -- but Ciccio is trapped when he unsuccessfully attempts to impersonate Goldfoot's reflection in a makeshift mirror.
Sicilian comics Franco and Ciccio, to quote the great Italian director Lucio Fulci -- who wrote some material for them at the beginning of his career -- were nothing more than "horrible rip-offs of Laurel and Hardy," and they repeat their standard shtik with customarily laughless results.

Dr. Goldfoot and the Girl Bombs - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The film was shot in Italy and the title of the Italian version (which is reported to be quite different than the English-language edition) is Spie vengono dal semifreddo (Spies Come In From the Semi-cold).
The film ends with an extended frantic chase through the streets of Rome, and Goldfoot attempting to start a war between Russia and the United States by dropping a nuclear bomb on Moscow.

Italian actor Franco Franchi was the clean-shaven half of the international film comedy team Franco and Ciccio (Ciccio Ingrassia was the mustachioed half).
Watching Franco and Ciccio was like watching Jerry Lewis and Jim Carrey on amphetamines; they seemed to subscribe to the theory that running in circles and screaming incoherently was the pinnacle of comic technique.
Franco Franchi and Ciccio Ingrassia could be seen at their most frenetic, playing comic doormen in Dr. Goldfoot and the Girl Bombs (1966), wherein all comic honors were won hands-down by the villain, Vincent Price.

Upon their return, the thieves are welcomed as the real thing by their wives and families, but that's when the confusion begins, as the original spaceship returns with the real cosmonauts, setting up a number of farcical situations.
