  Frank Arnesen - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Frank Arnesen (born September 30, 1956 in Copenhagen) is the sporting director of English football club Chelsea.
After his active career, Frank Arnesen was first appointed assistant coach at PSV under Bobby Robson from 1991 to 1993, and in 1994 he became the general manager of the team.
Arnesen was to function as the manager responsible for player transfers and scouting for new talent, while coach Jacques Santini handled the daily training sessions and match setups; an arrangement identical to Arnesen's days as PSV manager.

Frank Arnesen was born on 30 September 1956 in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Frank Arnesen's footballing career included succesful stints at Ajax, where he won 3 league titles; Valencia, where he finished as La Liga's top scorer in his first year; and PSV Eindhoven, where he won three more Dutch titles as well as the European Cup and was then appointed assistant to Bobby Robson in 1991.
Arnesen is not the only member of Chelsea's management to have assisted Robson - Jose Mourinho is another.
