Conniff is obviously a talented writer and performer, and one can imagine an ambitious Conniff wondering if there might be more to life than appearing on a relatively obscure cable TV show for (except for rare occasions) about ten minutes out of each two-hour episode--and sometimes a great deal less.
Frank reiterated that he's still in contact with his former colleagues and friends at Best Brains and, contrary to speculation by some fans, it has not caused a rift between him and Best Brains.
Frank Conniff will not be in the movie, and no new sidekick for Dr. F.

Host segments reveal Frank probably shouldn't be allowed to see violent movies, as one inspires him to become a cackling madman.
