Baron Penrhyn is a British peerage title that has been created twice.
Frank Douglas-Pennant, 5th Baron Penrhyn, who died in February 1967 at the age of 101, is the oldest British peer ever.
The Douglas family of the second creation are the same of the same lineage as the Marquess's of Queensbury (note the appearance of the middle name Sholto in both families) and are also related to the later Earls of Home.

At Neustadt, 5th Recce came upon a group of concentration camp survivors who had been brought there to be disposed of by being sent to sea in ships and sunk.

Colonel Malcolm Frank Douglas-Pennant, 6th Baron Penrhyn DSO MBE (July 11, 1908 – November 8, 2003) was a Welsh peer, soldier, rifleman and farmer, seond son of Frank Douglas-Pennant, 5th Baron Penrhyn.
Lord Penrhyn was educated at Eton and Sandhurst, before joinging 60th rifles in 1929.
After Malcolm too died without male issue (he had two daughters), the title of Lord Penrhyn passed to his nephew.
