	MPR: World War II veteran recalls patriotism in his time
		Valentini is from the Iron Range town of Chisholm, and he's one of eight Valentini brothers who served in the military during World War II.
		Frank Valentini, 82, and seven of his nine brothers all served in World War II, and all came back alive.
		Frank Valentini spent 27 months in combat, and more than three years in the service, and he never got a leave to visit home.

		Frank Valentini was born 11 June 1919 in the Iron Range town of Chisholm, MN.
		Following high school Frank worked at a CCC camp in northern MN (1937-39) and spent time as a steelworker in the Detroit suburb of Wyandotte, MI (1939-42).
		Frank remained here until the end of the Pacific war in August 1945; in October of that year he returned to the US and was discharged with the rank of sergeant.
