Welker is particularly noted for a wide range of non-verbal vocal effects, i.e., for aliens and (non-talking) animals.
Welker's longest running role is also one of his earliest voice-over roles: as Fred Jones, the level-headed leader of the mystery-solving team from Hanna-Barbera's Scooby-Doo, Where are You!
Welker also provided the voice (both speaking and non-speaking) of Nibbler in the cartoon TV series Futurama.

Many of us fans believe that this movie will not be complete unless Peter Cullen and Frank Welker are brought back to reprise their respective roles as Optimus Prime and Megetron.
Cullen and Welker have shown an interest in this film from what I have been able to cobble together, so they would probably be more inclined to work with the project instead of the other way around like Celebreties have a habit of doing.
As for Welker, well G1 Megatron was always useless in both comic and cartoon, but Welker just made him all the more sillier in my opinion.
