In the county, the population is spread out with 24.00% under the age of 18, 7.90% from 18 to 24, 28.20% from 25 to 44, 23.70% from 45 to 64, and 16.00% who are 65 years of age or older.

 Description of the Geology of Franklin County Pennsylvania
The parallel anticlinal and synclinal belts of limestone and slate in Franklin county are of the highest importance in proving the identity of formations II and III with the Lower (Cambro-) Silurian series in New York State and elsewhere, and with the limestone and slate belts of the Juniata river country.
North of the fault the Franklin county mountain mass consists of several thousand feet of sandstones and slates, dipping 30° and 40° east, which may be called Potsdam (I) or Cambrian.

The Letterkenny Army Depot (Letterkenny), consisting of 19,520 acres, is five miles north of Chambersburg, in Franklin County, Pennsylvania (Appendix 1, Figure 1) (22).
Chambersburg, with a 1990 population of approximately 16,647 persons, is the county seat of Franklin County (1990 population of 121,082).

A land warrant (No. 1366) for "A tract of land in Washington Township, Franklin County, Pennsylvania, containing 355 acres and allowance surveyed - February 7, 1749" was found in the LAND DOCKET book in the Chambersburg Court House, Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.
In addition to this land, Edward owned land in Franklin County, Pennsylvania, Lankester (sp) County Pennsylvania, and land that borders the Susquehanna and Juniata Rivers in Perry County, Pennsylvania.
This time he was accused of having assaulted Nicholls in Pennsylvania and of having then forced the latter to accompany him to Old Town where he was kept a prisoner for a day and a night.
