Fravia - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Fravia is a pseudonym/handle for a European seeker who is probably best known for his web archive of reverse engineering techniques and papers.
Mirrors of the old web site still exist, though Fravia has publically requested that they be removed in favor of his new web-searching-centric site.
He lead people from becoming 'crackers' to reversers, in the sense of software reverse engineering and as an ideology.

 Fravia's web-searching lore (¯`·.¸(¯`·.¸ ridd_wot.htm ¸.·´¯)¸.·´¯)
Fravia has a habit of naming some of his images after the author of the images or the content, so lets put 'mucha' into a search engine.
What fravias alterations to the text did was to bring an old bit of text forward into a modern context, using words and themes which we could relate to in the modern world.
Fravia has given us this place to share thoughts and views and surely we should return the favour by contributing to that which we treasure so much, in that way the legacy will be continued and will not turn into the remnants of a forgotten race.

A Searchlores reference did not come up until link number 257, which I found slightly odd as I had structured my querry with the idea of targeting Fravia+'s pages.
Still, three of Fravia's pages appeared at links 257, 752, and 761.
Much thanks goes to Fravia for originating this idea.

The Case of the Lost JPEG
Attached to the message was a JPEG file, the one that Fravia links to on his main entry page.
If Shonsu really did see the text, my guess is that it may have been a GIF or a JPEG on Fravia's previous pages at Mygale or Geocities, and that was displaced from Shonsu's cache by later downloads.
Matthias Wolf's excellent Netscape Cache Explorer (and his related MSIE program) goes a long way to letting you retrieve stuff, but it, too, depends on what gets cached in the first place.

David and Fravia; As you know, it was a year ago last August that I first surfed the net, and Fravia's web-page was the first web-page I've ever seen.
A lot of the text was lifted directly from Fravia's earlier sites (at least as long ago as April last year, I think).
Finally, the name LoLander may be a subtle response to Fravia's stated belief that ORC is Dutch.
