Co-chaired by space scientist Ivan Becky and psychologist Harvey Wichmann of Claremont McKenna College, the workshop assembled anthropologists, sociologists, psychologists, and political scientists to discuss threat assessment, warning strategies, mitigation procedures and rescue and recovery techniques.
Greg Herek was interviewed for the nationally broadcast public radio series, "The Infinite Mind," hosted by former NIMH director, Dr. Fred Goodwin.
The show's theme was "Prejudice." Although the program isn't broadcast in Sacramento/Davis, it is available on the web.
