Frederick Calvert, 6th Baron Baltimore (February 6, 1731–September 4, 1771) was an English nobleman and last in the line of Barons Baltimore.
Calvert owned Maryland at a time of rising discontent in the colony at his family's feudal rule and amidst growing demands by the legislative assembly for an end to his family's authoritarian rule.
In 1768, Frederick was accused of abduction and rape by Sarah Woodcock.

Named for his father's friend, Frederick, Prince of Wales, the last Lord Baltimore was heir not only to the proprietary title and estates but also to the gathering discontent with the policies of the mother country.
With the coming of the French and Indian War, relations between the Proprietary and the lower house of the Assembly became strained, owing to the discontent of the delegates with the power and prerequisites exercised and claimed by the "court" or governor's party.
Frederick's marriage to the Lady Diana Egerton, daughter of the Duke of Bridgewater, was cut short by her death in 1758.

British and American heirs of Frank Calvert, the British field archaeologist and diplomat who preceded Heinrich Schliemann as excavator of Troy (see ARCHAEOLOGY, May/June 1995) are planning to file a claim to a portion of Schliemann's Trojan treasures.
Frederick Calvert of London, great-grandson of Frank Calvert's elder brother Frederick, says the claim would apply to that portion of the treasures found on his family's land.
The Calvert heirs also say that since Frank Calvert was not privy to all the finds and their locations, and since Schliemann's documentation was at times suspect, they have a claim to other treasures (as yet unspecified) that they believe were not divided equally with Calvert.
