  Fredericton, New Brunswick - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Fredericton, population 47,560 (greater Fredericton 81,346, both per 2001 census), is the capital of the province of New Brunswick, Canada.
Fredericton is located in the middle of the Saint John River valley, with most of the city's post-war suburban development occuring on gently sloping hills on either side of the river, although the downtown core is flat and lies low to the river.
Fredericton High School, which was once the largest school in the British Commonwealth, primarily serves students on the south side; while Leo Hayes High School, which opened in 1999, serves north side students.

In 1968, with the financial help of the York-Sunbury Historical Society, she shared her vast knowledge of the information she had collected on the houses of Fredericton and surrounding area and the folk who lived in them by compiling a 477-page publication, ‘Fredericton, New Brunswick, British North America’.
One of the occupants of 725 George Street was James Hogg, who was born in Lietrim, Ireland in 1800 and came to New Brunswick in 1819 where he became a trader.
In 1844, he founded the Fredericton newspaper, The Reporter and was for many years the publisher.

FREDERICTON - Some roads remained closed and many homeowners struggled with flooded basements in low-lying areas around Fredericton on Saturday as the St. John River overflowed its banks.
Emergency measures officials in Fredericton expect the St. John River flood to crest by Sunday, but rain continues to fall.
Paul Blackmore, who lives a few streets away from the river in Fredericton North, spent Saturday using a pool pump to keep water levels down to about a metre in his basement.

Isaac died 04 Feb 1901 in Woodstock, and is buried in the Wesleyan Methodist cemetery.
She died near Brevard, North Carolina in early April, 1979, and was buried in Crystal Lake Cemetery in Minneapolis, next to her husband.

As for Fredericton North I must say that MLA Peter Forbes is known for speaking too quickly.
The only time he really made an effort to fight for the riding was a verbal assault against a Fredericton no-smoking in bars law, in which he suggested that second-hand smoke does not harm people and that the law-makers were "health Nazis".
