Various Licenses and Comments about Them - GNU Project - Free Software Foundation (FSF)
This is a free software license which is not a strong copyleft; unlike the X11 license, it has some complex restrictions that make it incompatible with the GNU GPL.
This is a Free Documentation license that is incompatible with the GNU FDL.
Likewise, if you use this license without either of the options to make your manual free, someone else might decide to imitate you, then change his or her mind about the options thinking that that is just a detail; the result would be that his or her manual is non-free.

Free File Home - Your Link to Free Federal Online Filing
The Free File program is a free federal tax preparation and electronic filing program for eligible taxpayers developed through a partnership between the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and the Free File Alliance LLC, a group of private sector tax software companies.
Free File allows taxpayers with an Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) of $52,000 or less in 2006 to e-file their federal tax returns for free.  That means 70 percent of all taxpayers – 95 million taxpayers – can take advantage of the Free File program.
Some companies offer free e-filing of the Form 1040EZ-T, Telephone Excise Tax Refund, for those who want to claim the refund credit and are not required to file a federal income tax return.

Info Vilesilencer: The Original SEO Friendly Free Directory List
We have had to with-hold a number of directories from the list this update to keep the quality once again within the list to ensure that you are getting the best of the newest directories as they become available to us.
The entry pages for each list type (general, niche, pay for inclusion as well as the seo friendly list page), attract a higher cost per month because they provide substantially more traffic and are in higher demand.
The update releases the latest directories available that have retained their free status, but during the month that an update occurs, anywhere from 10 to 50 new directories might move from free to paid models, so it really is the best idea to sit on the forum and catch all the new ones coming in.

Free software list - Lifehacker   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-11-01)
It's a list of good free software in a form that does not appear designed to be maintained and where the listings lack a description to aid in differentiating the offerings.
Much of the software on that list is free, but some of it is just "freeware" - free as in beer (but then, so are Internet Explorer and Windows Media Player), but not "free software".
This may sound pedantic, but then half of the software on that list would probably not exist, had it not been for the efforts of those conscious of the need to have software that is free-as-in-freedom as well as free-as-in-beer.

Review of Free Mailing List Programs
When lists get large, usually a moderator selected by the list owner screens messages before they are sent out, to cut down on clutter and keep the quality of content high.
They've designed a list interface that is quite easy to understand and navigate through, with a multitude of features to accommodate various kinds of communication within the group.
When the moderator checks in, he or she is presented with a list of people who have applied to be members (unless you select open membership), and a list of messages to either approve and send to the group or reject (unless you allow free posting).

The 46 Best-ever Freeware Utilities   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-11-01)
There is a free and a pro version, the only difference being that the free version has a few non-critical features disabled and has no direct technical support.
It appears to be a little vulnerable to polymorphic malware in particular and for this reason I suggest it should be used in combination with regular on-demand scans from the free AVG Anti-Spyware.
Prevx1 is actually free to use for detection but you'll need to pay if you want to have remove malware.
