	Freeride - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		Freeride is a form of mountain biking involving riding free on a bike.
		Freeriding is a relatively new sport combining different aspects of mountain biking, such as downhill and dirtjumping.
		Freeride bikes are similar to downhill bikes though they are slightly lighter which enables them to be ridden not just downhill but through more technical sections, such as North Shore obstacles.

		I have Freerides and Freeride Pros and there is definitely a difference in the ride characteristics imparted by the strap sets.
		The weight of the freeride/freeride pro's is pretty comparible with the Drake matrix, ride lx, or burton p1 so that is really not that bad, but they are definately not as light as a pair of burton c-14/c-16/c-60's.
		I have two pairs of the basic freerides and the weight has not bothered me because the performance is so much better with these bindings that it is worth it.

		no theres the freeride trail orsini has been making that seems real fun thats suppose to be the freeride course where people are judged at the drops and stunts and on speed possibly.
		I could be wrong and I don't want to hurt anybody's feelings if they are at plattekill all the time helping out, but it seems like other than Chris, Cathy and the few helpers they got building the race courses this past year, Lazlo is pretty much a solo operation there.
