Guns are set two millimetres apart, each two millimetres section is worth ten points if open, 30 points if earth and 40 points if stone.

 French Navy moves to Durban
Two French Navy ships, the Floreal class small patrol frigate FNS Nivose (F732) and the L’audacieuse class offshore patrol boat FNS La Boudeuse (P683) will arrive in Durban on Friday (11 April) for a short visit.
The class is designed for offshore patrol duties, in particular sea fisheries and is built to commercial standards, making them inexpensive to operate and man. Power comes in the form of four diesel engines driving two shafts and producing 8,800 bhp for a speed of 20 knots.
The vessel is lightly but adequately armed for its designed purpose with a 40mm and a 20mm gun as well as two 12.7mm machine guns and carries a crew of 24 with accommodation for 20 passengers.

But the guns still retained all their components to be set onto the ground and used as standard towed guns.
The same principle is used in artillery, also: watch an M109 series SP gun fire: the gun recoils a considerable length as opposed to an Abrams tank, because the lighter hull of the Paladin must "draw out" the recoil in a longer run to handle it.

Today, a unit is lucky if it has a.50 caliber heavy machine gun on its trucks, the norm is a medium 7.62mm or a light 5.56mm machine gun with NO MOUNT; just a lower-ranking Soldier standing exposed in the back of the unarmored truck.
This resulted in letters from the Chief of Staff, USAF to the Chief of Naval Operations and then down the chain of command to the CO of the Naval Weapons Center, China Lake, to the effect that no more tests, or even mention of this aircraft would be tolerated.

Mendelejevs background sure showed: the "Armoured Land Cruiser" he proposed in 1915 used heavy armoured plating, evidently of the kind used on war ships (150-100mm thick), an engine from a submarine (the whole thing had a vague submarine-ish look) and a 120mm Naval gun.
Had it ever been used on anything less than pretty flat and firm terrain, it would probably have faced the same destiny as som many french S:t Chamonds: it would have got stuck: the trench crossing capacity would have been nearly nil.
The Green colour scheme is the one seen on many Russian AFV:s at the time, but is purely conjuncture: but then again, no one knows how it would have looked, if it had ever been built and deployed.
