French police say that their Dutch counterparts recently gained a full confession from a suspect accused of killing a young girl, after telling him they had found his "smell signature" on the handlebars of her bicycle.
Now the police are preparing to present the French courts with evidence from the study to convince them of the accuracy of the technique.
