The Ozark Folk Center is an Arkansas living history state park located in scenic Mountain View, Arkansas dedicated to preserving and presenting Ozark cultural heritage and tradition to the public.
Prior to its opening in 1973 the state of Arkansas recognized the potential of the project and folded the center into the state park system and provided additional funding.
Traditional Ozark folk music is presented to guests throughout the park on a daily basis and at the Ozark Folk Center Theater at regular times throughout the day.
