	Ballaghaderreen and District Development Ltd \| History
		They settled at Dun Gar (Frenchpark) in the 1650’s, where they built a large Jacobean style house with Dutch bricks imported via Galway.
		In 1839, Arthur French of Frenchpark was created the first Baron de Freyne.
		Frenchpark House was demolished about thirty years ago.

	Two men stabbed in South Belfast attack
		The two men were then subsequently attacked, with one man, aged 23, suffering a stab wound to his hand and cuts to his face, and his 21-year-old friend being stabbed in the shoulder and receiving cuts and bruises to his head.
		Both men were treated in hospital for their injuries which are not thought to be life threatening.
		Residents of Frenchpark Street contacted police after one of the men sought refuge from his attackers in a house in the area.

		It is understood two men were chased from Kitchener Street in the Village area into Frenchpark Street shortly before 0130 GMT on Monday.
		A 21-year-old man was stabbed in the shoulder and has cuts and bruises to his head; a 23-year-old was stabbed in the hand and has cuts to his face.
		The alarm was raised by residents of that street.

		Her remains were removed from the Sharkey Funeral Home, Frenchpark to Frenchpark Church on December 26th.
		Following Mass of the Resurrection in Frenchpark on Friday 27th Baby was laid to rest in Cloonshanville Cemetery.
		She is survived and sadly missed by sons Paddy, Brian and John, daughters Mary and Patricia, grandchildren, sons in law, and daughters in law, sister in law Teenie, great grandchildren, relatives and friends.

		I know she had brothers Thomas, John and Patrick Lavin and that they all immigrated to the US.
		I know also that Ellen married Martin Rogers also from Frenchpark.

		The father was Arthur French of Frenchpark Co Roscommon, by whom she had a number of children.
