When it became evident that the artisans would have to reside at the presidios instead of the missions, Governor Diego de Borica insisted not only that Indian apprentices be sent to the presidios to learn their trades but also that the artisans have Indians as servants in their homes.

James Ortiz (1532-1571), sometimes called by his Spanish name Fray Diego Ortiz, was an Augustinian missionary to Peru, where he was martyred.
Friar Marcos proved to be severe and inflexible in his attitude towards many of the Inca customs.
The cause for canonization of James Ortiz was begun in 1608.

Don Diego de Castro Titu Cusi Yupanqui (1529 - 1571) was a son of Manco Inca Yupanqui, and became the Inca Ruler of Vilcabamba in 1558.
During his rule at Vilcabamba, Francisco de Toledo, Count of Oropesa wanted to negotiate with him.
Titu Cusi made Tupac Amaru a priest and custodian of Manco Inca's body in Vilcabamba.

Tupac Amaru inherited the position of ruler of the Incas in 1570 when the former ruler, Titu Cusi, was poisoned and killed by Friar Diego Ortiz, a Catholic murderer.
Tupac was then baptized and forced to convert to Christianity before he was framed and found guilty of the murder of Friar Diego Ortiz and sentenced to death.

The ultimate measure of "clutch" would probably involve using P-values from win probability situations, setting a threshold for "clutch" v.
I know the sample is small, but I'm starting to think if there is such a thing as clutch hitters Ortiz might be it.
Then again I like the idea of the hit just happening to come at a certain point.
