Friedrich Naumann (March 25, 1860 – August 24, 1919) was a German politician and Protestant parish priest.
Naumann was a German nationalist who had annexionist ideals during the First World War; in particular, he believed that Holland and Flanders should become a part of Germany.
In 1919 Friedrich Naumann was a cofounder of the German Democratic Party (Deutsche Demokratische Partei, DDP) with Theodor Wolff and Hugo Preuss, the "father of the constitution of the Weimar Republic".

Born Störmthal, Prussia (Germany), Friedrich Naumann was a political and social theorist, publicist, and reformer who became one of the most influential partisans of German liberalism.
Through 1893 he shaped the journal Die Hilfe ("Assistance") into a forum for his ideas and founded the National Social Union (1896), an organisation that called for national strength through a combined programme of democratic and social reform.
In 1919 he was one of the founders of the Democratic Party, and he served as the party's leader until his death.

Actually, China is in desperate need of trained lawyers and judges -- and a legal system that protects civil and property rights -- according to one of the few field studies by western researchers.
Researchers for the Friedrich Naumann Foundation, based in Germany, conducted field surveys in 1994 and 1995, interviewing farmers, businessmen, lawyers and judges in two provinces of China to assess the legal system.
They found bribery is widespread, with 72 percent of businessmen and citizens surveyed in the field saying they bribe officials, and judges are frequently corrupt, since they must raise their own revenue.
