Friedrich Wilhelm Kritzinger (April 14, 1890 - October 1947) was a Nazi politician.
Kritzinger was the only participant at this conference to later express shame and regret over the conference.
Kritzinger was arrested, along with most of the surviving members of the Conference, in 1946.

In reading the minutes alleged to have come from the surviving transcript, Kritzinger is mentioned only as having been present for the meeting.
I think the origin of the claim that he opposed the measures discussed is the statement he made at his trial where he said he was ashamed of what had been done.
The specific exchange of "deniability" between Heydrich and Kritzinger is almost certainly based on Conspiracy, as nothing of that amount of detail survived, and neither Kritzinger's nor Eichmann's trial mentioned it specifically.

Especially strong are Colin Firth as Wilhelm Stuckart, co-author of Nazi laws proclaiming a Jewish-free society; David Threlfall as turf-guarding Friedrich Wilhelm Kritzinger; Stanley Tucci as the obliging Eichmann; and Ian McNeice as that foulmouthed SS sausage Gerhard Klopfer.
For instance, Dr. Friedrich Kritzinger, state secretary of the Reich Chancellery (played by David Threlfall), seems utterly appalled by the enormity of what is being proposed, and ultimately has to be threatened with death before he can be made to vote his approval.
Wilhelm Stuckart (played by Colin Firth), a high- ranking Reich official and lawyer who wrote the Nazi's Nuremberg laws, is concerned that the extermination plan is illegal.

As if tacitly admitting the lack of hard evidence for orchestrated genocide from the minutes, the screenplay chucks in a throwaway line: Heydrich speaks of finding a new way of killing Jews fast by "learning to take the Fuhrer literally".
Stuckart tells Dr Kritzinger that this refers to a "Mein Kampf" passage about how the Great War could have been won if subversive, high-ranking German Jews back home had been held under poison gas.
We are supposed to infer a whiff of Zyklon B from this; but as is clear in context, Hitler meant that those Jews should have had to inhale British poison gas as front-line soldiers, like himself.

The implication that Broszat had been a sympathizer, even an enthusiast, is present when Berg deals at length with his exchanges in the early 1960s with the Jewish historian Joseph Wulf, based on the archives of the Institut.
Broszat accepted Hagen's claims that he had defended Poles against the SS and supported him against Wulf's findings that he had taken quite a different stance on Jews in the Warsaw ghetto (where Wulf had himself been confined, before deportation to Auschwitz).

Conspiracy is a Home Box Office (HBO) special that zeroes in on a meeting held on January 20, 1942, when 15 Nazi bureaucrats gathered at an ornate mansion in Wannsee on the outskirts of Berlin.
Those at the meeting included Reinhard Heydrich (Kenneth Branagh), SS major Adolf Eichmann (Stanley Tucci), Friedrich Kritzinger (David Threlfall) and Dr. Wilhelm Stuckart (Colin Firth).
They arrived in limousines and were greeted by butlers and aides who served a sumptuous buffet and attended to their needs.

The movie places a considerable amount of attention on the civilians at the table, their reaction to Heydrich's heavy-handedness and the shock these high-ranking Nazis feel about having been left out of the loop.
The only character who shows the slightest regret over the "solution" is Dr. Friedrich Wilhelm Kritzinger (David Threlfall), who tries to take a stand against Heydrich for going against what he believes is the standing policy of deportation, but he's ultimately strong-armed by the SS leader.
Another reluctant party is Dr. Wilhelm Stuckart (Colin Firth) — author of the infamous anti-Jewish Nuremberg laws — who feels that the blueprint for what we now call the Holocaust is a recipe for lawlessness, but strangely sees no criminality in exterminating as many as 2,500 people per hour.

The film starts off slowly with plenty of Heil Hitlers and introductions so we know who everyone is: “Dr. Wilhelm Stuckart, you’ve met Friedrich Kritzinger.
