Environmental artist Stephen Charnock has been commissioned to create an exciting new piece of artwork to mark the start and end of the Sandstone Trail in Frodsham town centre.

As you will know, the wooded hill is a well loved feature of Frodsham, and any developments within the woods would totally alter the character of the town and could possibly restrict freedom of access which has always been enjoyed by everyone.
July, attended by over 200 local residents, it was agreed by unanimous vote that the woodland for sale at Frodsham Hill would be best safeguarded by the Woodland Trust.
