North-West Frontier Province, Pakistan - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia The North-West Frontier Province (NWFP) is the smallest of the four provinces of Pakistan and is home to the Pashtuns (Afghans) and various other groups. The province has an area of 74,521 km² and its districts include Hazara (not to be confused with the Hazara people of Afghanistan), home to the town of Havelian, the western starting point of the Karakoram Highway. The act defined the frontier line and the fifty-nine organized frontier counties of Texas; it also instructed Governor Murrah to divide the designated counties into three districts and to appoint a suitable man with the rank of major of cavalry to take charge of the organization of mounted companies within the district.
