Fruitarianism is a philosophy of diet, which when put into practice, affects our morals and lifestyle profoundly..
Fruitarianism proposes, for various reasons, to increase dietary consumption of fruit, and consequently decrease (eventually eradicate completely) our consumption of cereal foods, and cooked foods in general.
Cooking itself, not practiced within fruitarian philosophy, but generally not even considered an issue within vegan thoughts, is a highly destructive process and extremely wasteful in terms of energy consumption, and nourishment lost from within the food (destroyed by extremes of heat).

Fruitarian diets, like other vegan diets, are deficient in vitamin B-12, and low in the other B vitamins, also vitamin D. Fruitarian diets are very low in zinc; the "light" or "euphoric" mental feelings some fruitarians experience may actually be a symptom of zinc deficiency!

I would also encourage all fruitarians to investigate their behavior for symptoms of eating disorders, and to confront those "demons." It is reasonable to call eating disorder behaviors demons as they are recognized as a form of mental illness; however, it is not reasonable to call cooked food, mucus, or protein, a demon.

Fruitarianism and near-fruitarianism are the worst possible case, because in addition to progressive long-term deficiencies, the body's insulin-production capabilities are being simultaneously overwhelmed with the high carbohydrate load in the form of higher glycemic-index foods containing simpler sugars like glucose, sucrose, and fructose.
This may extend the period over which a "fruitarian" can maintain their regimen, but it doesn't remove the underlying problem of the long-term consequences of excessive sugar consumption and/or hyperinsulinism, not to mention low intake of B-vitamins, certain minerals, etc., that are likely to result if the diet is continued long enough.

 Fruitarian Delight
Fruitarianism is a relatively new concept in this generation and in our time, although it is actually a revival from very ancient history, dating back millions of years.
Being an unfamiliar concept, it is looked upon with suspicion because in terms of fruitarianism, fruit is a total food and humanity is educated to look at food in the form of calories, vitamins and minerals which, according to medical and nutritionist sources, is not sufficiently available in a fruit diet.
The Fruitarian Network was founded in 1988 and is known world-wide with the regular publication of a “Newsletter/Magazine”.

In this article I will explain what is meant by the term "Essene Fruitarian" (it does not mean what you most likely think it means!), as well as provide a step-by-step program divided into three phases which makes possible a gradual transition into the more esoteric dimensions of this diet.
Although many Essene Fruitarians will choose to be vegan (a vegan is a vegetarian who eats no animal products at all, including dairy products), it is possible to eat dairy products on this diet since the animal is not killed and the milk comes from grass that need not be uprooted.
A raw food vegetarian who is also an Essene Fruitarian (vegan version) is in full compliance with the dietary injunction of God and will experience a full blessing and full communion with God, unless he or she is out of harmony with God in some other area of life.

I moved from spiritual fruitarianism to toxic fruitarianism when I allowed the bogus fear of mucus, and the drive to be "pure" (mucusless, per the title of Ehret's book), to dominate me. When fear dominates you, it poisons you (your mind), just as surely as drinking deadly poison will poison your body.
Clearly, starving yourself to be "pure" (e.g., fruitarianism and the delusion of impurity) or because you are "fat" (anorexia and the delusion that you are not perfect because you are overweight) is not a sane or moderate approach.
