When the Fort Worth Cats hoisted the Central Baseball League championship trophy on Sept. 3, 2005, it was the conclusion of one of the most remarkable seasons in Cats' history.
The Fort Worth Cats today have announced that they will play in the 10-team American Association beginning in 2006, joining several of the nation’s top Independent teams in the formation of a new league with a historic name.
Betty and Eldon were seen at many Cats games during the first year in 2001 and she and Eldon will now have the best seats in the house.

We do learn that "little" Vic Marasco from Los Angeles was 25 in 1954 and had a decent (.306/89/14) year in AA Ft. Worth in 1953.
