SHIZUOKA -- A man who stole a bicycle and later asked for directions at a police box was arrested Thursday after officers felt he was acting suspiciously, police said.
He then visited a local police box near JR Fujinomiya Station and asked officers for the way to JR Shinfuji Station on the Tokaido Shinkansen Line.
After one of the officers told him that the bullet train station was located some 10 kilometers from the police box, Enobi told them that he had come from Aichi Prefecture.
