Boyz II Men - Full Circle Review
In an effort to set Full Circle on the right track, the Babyface-penned "The Color Of Love" was the album's debut single with a video that had the guys traversing four countries around the world.
The fifth song of the album, "Whatcha Need" is a decent jam in which the guys tell a girl that she's with the wrong man. They feel like they could treat her better and remove the abuse and sadness that she has to live with.
Full Circle is far more blunt in its sexual descriptions than the group's previous efforts, and Michael's moaning near the end makes this song a little creepy.

Full Circle (Pennywise album) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Full Circle is the fourth full-length album by the punk band Pennywise.
It was released on April 22, 1997 (see 1997 in music) and was digitally remastered on March 8, 2005 on the original label.
The entire album was dedicated to the memory of Jason, who had been a key song writer for Pennywise, and a close friend of all of those in the band.

 dallasobserver.com - News - Spirit of '96
Although her previous work was good, this album holds a piece of the true cross in its blue mix of the original, the archetypal, and the archival.
Somewhere in the southern half of Africa, a 20-year-old college student sits in a town that was once a principal city in the ancient state of Yoruba; he's wearing a Donald Duck T-shirt and listening to a (formerly) East German artist's machine-generated version of that area's traditional rhythms on a $400 French tape deck.
Neither album is as country-crossover friendly as that of master SA accordeonista Mingo Saldivar: although Ybarra has a fondness for similarly rapid 1/16 and 1/32 note runs.

Travis Brings Country Full Circle - The World and I Magazine
The album, Travis' eleventh (not counting his Randy Ray album, but including his two Greatest Hits discs), is even better sung than his first, thanks to a more developed voice and a maturing outlook.
Full Circle moves gracefully through decades of country music tradition, reflecting Travis' formative years in North Carolina listening to country music legends.
Another late addition to Full Circle was the Mark Knopfler--penned "Are We in Trouble Now." Travis does not view the connection with the Dire Straits' rock artist as unusual.

peermusic - The Independent Major :: Garrett Wall
The album demonstrates a palpable musical, lyrical and vocal maturity and offers a tasty stylistic hybrid of tunes ranging from the ethereal ("Long Overdue" / "These Days") to the edgy and introspective ("Gravity" / "Grow Up") yet not hesitating to rock admirably ("Hard to Be Happy" / "Watching You Fall" / "What You Need").
The 11 track album, featuring a song composed and performed in Spanish, "Los Dias", is a hit worthy gem that firmly proves that Wall has finally come into his own.
The new album sees Garrett returning to his more acoustic roots on some tracks like "Grow Up" and "These Days" whereas still maintaining his more dynamic live sound in "What You Need" and "Hard to be Happy".

But apart from these references the album is mainly a feast of self-indulgence, which the band blows over you, with a strong leading role for newcomer Rudess, tightly supported by the other members.
The title track and last track on the album is supposed to deal with the future, and Oldfield does that by shamelessly copying the style of techno-band Underworld, before giving a reprise of almost every song on the album.
The main theme of the album is the near relationship between man and nature as an opposite of the distant relationship between people themselves.

On a creative roll, Lycia followed up their lengthy Burning Circle with a full new album the next year.
Two trends started on Burning Circle do play significant roles here - the further integration of Vanflower's singing, to the point where she performs on a full half of the album's songs, and the increasing role of electronics rather than guitars in providing the musical base for much of the material.
The general theme of the album, as the title indicates, focuses on the chillier side of desolation physical and emotional both, thus song titles like "Frozen," "Bare," "Colder," "December" and so forth.

Stephen Henkin is an arts editor for The World & I. When Randy Travis appeared on the country music scene in the mideighties, he was more than just a ruggedly handsome singer with an impressive, deep baritone voice and an unmistakable Carolina twang.
Travis had been turned down by several recording companies because they considered him "too country." The industry changed its mind about him, however--and about traditional country music--when in 1986 three of his singles and his first full album, Storms of Life, rocketed to the top of the charts.
The star's pure, undiluted countryish sound reinvigorated the Nashville music industry by reminding it of the values of the legendary stars who came before.

Like all great musicians, the members of INXS were unafraid to pay tribute to their roots, a sensibility that in their case gave as much due to Chic and '70s disco as it did to traditional blues-rock.
Spanning the band's obscure new wave debut single, early album tracks, and a wealth of hits from "The One Thing" to "Bitter Tears," this set underscores those roots and the steadfast personal interplay and musical devotion that characterized the band.
