I am under whelmed by some of the facial features, they seem like they were trying to go for realism and they missed the mark completely.
Kindaichi Case Files is a collaborative effort between Yozaburo Kanari and Fumiya Sato.
I advise to keep it away from small children due to some of the graphic scenes.

Every file is roughly about 14 eps in length (280 pages).
Second series (Vol 1-7), in this series, Sato, Kanari, and Amagi changes the concept by making relatively short cases compared to the first series, which are quite long.
