		The problem of social integration is reduced to the explanation of such forms of integration as "functional integration," "racial integration," and "cultural integration." Another common approach to integration study is using synonyms such as: cohesion, synthesis, unification, etc. to define the term.
		Cultural integration is functional when it has a positive effect by maintaining and perpetuating unity, balance, and progress with the elements of society.
		Cultural integration is always a matter of degree; one may speculate that the degree is a measurement of the ties between the homogenous segments of a culture.
