Funeral were formed in 1991 out of the ashes of another band by drummer (then guitarist) Anders Eek and guitarist Thomas Angell.

In 2004, this made many critics' year-end lists, and it's no wonder--the songs on FUNERAL are so packed with unique instrumentation, mesmerizing build-ups, and galvanizing tempo changes that they seem culled from some enigmatic, decade-spanning rock anthology.
I haven't even listened to "Funeral", and by all reports it's better!
This disc rocks, however it may be over some peoples heads and for those people they should continue listening to the radio and Nickelback.
