 | | Now, for those following the band, it is easily apparent that Incubus have come a long ways since their Fungus Amongus days, trading off their angry, angst-influenced funk/metal roots in favor of a more mature, melodic and introspective rock sound that can be heard on their later efforts. |
 | | A Crow Left Of The Murder continues that ongoing evolution, although this time around, Incubus mixes in more of the old with the new to create a delicious concoction of funk/groove-inspired rock with a notable dash of Brit-influenced post-punk, topped off with subtle hints of jazz, psychedelia, prog and world. |
