		Funky Squad (1995) was a short-lived Australian comedy television series which satirised '70s-era U.S. police television dramas, such as The Mod Squad.
		The show featured four "funky" undercover detectives: undetectable as police, given their "hipness".
		The conclusion of each episode was deliberately designed to be incredibly predictable: usually the perpetrator of the crime under investigation could be identified within the first few minutes of the episode.

		Originally the Squad was a short interlude on morning radio in Australia, but its' move to TV was somewhat less successful.
		That lack of ratings was primarily put down to the fact that the show didn't have a laugh track and hence the robotic audiences of the day weren't able to laugh at the gags because they weren't adequately prompted to.
