		I'm under the assumption that the reason that the reason the Go'uald and the Ancients, Furlings, Nox, and Asguard are enemeies are because the Go'uald can't take them as hosts and probely tried to destroy them, but I think the Go'uald have yet to pull it off.
		The Asgard are actually on a par with the Ancients and the Furlings, they aren't a younger race.
		The Asgard actually created materials stronger than those which made the Stargate (stated to be the absolute strongest material they knew of) and Stargates can survive just about anything intact.

		Few thousand years ago their race began to die from some reason, so they made a time machine to try and stop it, only the machine instead of taking them back in time to stop their own deaths, it created a time loop, which they never figured out how to fix.
		Back on the Ancient front, if all they did was build the Stargate network and a failed time machine, where did the idea that they're so badass come from.
		There's speculation that the body is either Furling, or Ancient, despite that fact that in that episode where SG-1 found the Ancient's time machine, it was said that the Ancients died off.
