		Being able to get to an external fuse panel made sense to me. Having a hardwired access point for future / additional 12 volt circuits, is good for growth.
		I placed the new fuse panel under the trailer next to the existing wiring loom's junction box.
		The cost of the fuse panel was ~$5.- fuses cost about the same.

		The front fuse box fits nicely in a factory car, but once the intake and intercooler are replaced, it keeps the intercooler from being located more centrally in the engine bay, and blocks cold air from reaching the new intake filter.

		I've noticed that there are spots in the fuse box that aren't used.
		One canidate i found, was in my old 1992 bonneville, there was a litte fuse box/ relay pack under the passenger side of the dash, like 8 fuses, and 1-4 relays in it.
		I will be adding a fuse in there, for some add ons, but when i did the same thing on a friends stang, (V6, stripper version) he had about 8 fuses empty.....

		The plan is to run a small gauge wire from my existing fuse box (key on power) to a relay and run a heavy wire to the relay and then to the input of the fuse panel.
		Sounds like you are on the right track by only using the current fuse panel to switch on the secondary panel.
		Just remember to use circuit wires that correlate to each circuit fuse and a supply wire that correlates to the sum of the circuits or to some other shared common fuse.

		The gauges in my 72 ss are not working and I noticed one of the "clips" that hold the fuses in the fuse box had completely broken out of the box.
		Tell me exactly which wire (color, fuse name) and I will send you the clip with the wire attached.
		Solder the wire to the one on your fuse panel that is broken, wrap and insert the clip.

		you probably have it fixed by now, but if you dont (and your fuse box is anything like my 89 formula) you can take the long route and get to know your car better and pull all of the fuses (they are usually labeled) and find the blown one (look for the burnt element).
