Amazon.com: Fused: Music: Tony Iommi,Glenn Hughes
Iommi's excitement about Fused is at a fever pitch and he cannot wait to tour with Hughes and Aronoff.
Fused is more of a harder album than the DEP Sessions as that album was leaning on the softer side.
Since the days of Black Sabbath with Tony Iommi's Seventh Star back in 1986 and the 1996 unreleased Eighth Star album (which would later become the DEP Sessions to be remixed in 2004), Tony Iommi and Glenn Hughes return for their third outing together.

MTV News - Ozzfest Over, Sabbath Guitarist Tony Iommi Resumes Solo Career
Iommi and Marlette started writing songs for Fused more than a year ago at Iommi's studio in Warwickshire, England.
However, by committing so resolutely to Sabbath, Iommi has been unable to support the recent release of his second solo album, Fused, a granite-solid slab that sounds more like a groove-saturated cross between Deep Purple and Audioslave than anything by Sabbath.
Incidentally, if you had asked Iommi two years ago what he hoped to be doing in 2005, he'd have said he wanted to be promoting a new Black Sabbath album, not a new Iommi disc.

Currently, Hughes is on a wildly popular tour for his latest, amazing, solo effort, "Soul Mover", in addition to collaborating, once again, with his longtime friend, Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi on the album 'Fused' released in mid 2005, to spluttering reviews.
Born in Cannock on August 21, 1952, Glenn Hughes, also known as "The Ultimate Voice of Rock", is a stunning bassist and adept vocalist who fronted the British funk rock band, Trapeze, in the early 1970s before moving on in 1973 to join forces alongside David Coverdale in the legendary Mk.
Glenn is also really good friends with Chad Smith from the Red Hot Chili Peppers, who considers Glenn to be one of his best friends too.
