Also, congrats to Josh Wheatley, his letter was published in Futurama Comics #2 (I will have a cover scan of the comic tomorrow)!
And another thing, underneath Comments on the right-hand column, there is a Send Futurama News Here form, and there is a spot underneath that reserved for a poll.

Futurama - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Futurama is an American animated television series created by Matt Groening (creator of The Simpsons) and David X. Cohen (also a writer for The Simpsons).
In the USA (DVD Region 1), the first season of Futurama was released on DVD on March 25, 2003; the second season on August 12, 2003; the third season on March 9, 2004; and the fourth (and final) on August 24, 2004.
The comics are of a larger size in the UK, and although the stories are exactly the same as the US comics, they are published in a different order.

When a comic is done well, readers fill in the stuff that happens between the panels, imagine the motion that’s suggested by the poses, and even hear the voices in their heads based on the characters’ expressions.
Futurama Comics is a bit more hit-and-miss but still worth the $2.50 most of the time.
The Futurama comic is a little flatter, perhpas as that show depends more on inventive SF than on its characters.

COMICON.com: SIMPSONS/FUTURAMA: CARTOON COMICS COOLEST CROSSOVER
Futurama Comics/Simpson's Comics: Infinitely Secret Crossover Crisis is written by Ian Boothby and drawn by James Lloyd.
Futurama is a series set a thousand years in the future chronicling the adventures of Philip J. Fry, a pizza delivery man, who's accidentally cryogenically frozen while delivering food to a laboratory.
In the Bongo Comics Universe, and from the point of view of Matt Groening, Futurama is the real world while The Simpsons is just a comic book and TV show.

Interview with Ian Boothby   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-25)
While I had been aware of Bongo Comics’ line of Simpsons/Futurama/Matt Groening’s TV character cavalcade for a number of years, I had read very few interviews with the creators of the books.
This remained the case until Ian Boothby was interviewed by Jen Contino over at PULSE in connection with the two-part Futurama Comics/Simpson's Comics: Infinitely Secret Crossover Crisis (Part one is already on sale and reviewed here), while part two will be released in December).
Futurama has some amazing concepts and is more action based whereas with the Simpsons the best stories are about the family dynamic.

One more thing, I ask the comic book guy there, what's the difference between 'Direct Editions' compared to others that don't say that, he said "Direct Editions are given to comic book stores and the others are given to news agencies", so its really up to you to choose which edition you get.
Futurama is almost as funny and witty as the Simpsons, but Simpsons appeal more to me, although Futurama came a very close second.
Although it was an excellent comic to read don't get me wrong their, but I would of thought they could of made a story for 'Margie's Baby' which only features a cover located at the end cover of the comic.

Fox may never have appreciated FUTURAMA when the network was airing (or mostly not airing) the animated series, but that hasn't stopped millions of viewers from enjoying it on Cartoon Network and on DVD.
FUTURAMA's covers definitely catch the eye, thanks to heroes who have very distinctive appearances and layouts which are every bit as striking.
FUTURAMA is the tale of Fry, a slacker from our time who was accidentally frozen and revived in the far future.

For example, a monthly issue (Simpsons Comics) that may have scored higher then a TreeHouse of Horror comic is not necessarily better.
TreeHouse of Horror comics will be compared to previous TreeHouse of Horror comics that have already came out and Simpsons Comics will be compared to monthly Simpsons Comics.
For comics that only have 2 or 1 issues in the series (Lisa or Crossover series), they are rated on how enjoyable the overall experience is to read along with the current rating system.

 Futurama Comics UK
As of this writing Futurama Comics 10 is scheduled to come out this week so that makes 10 issues that are ready to go the printers.
One good bi-product to all of this may be that Futurama Comics will be pushed to going monthly or at the very least force Bongo Comics to produce this on a regular basis even if it is still only every other month.
According to Bill Morrison Simpsons Comics were partly pushed to monthly status due to the UK printing them on a monthly basis and so they ate up many of the reserve issues quickly and thereby forcing Bongo Comics hand in the matter.

The Simpsons comics will sometimes tone down or exclude the more sexual side of things for example, but things like that aren't sacrificed here, which is good because otherwise the whole interaction between Leela and Zapp would be very dull.
For Zapp fans, Kif fans, or just fans of the series in general, this will be a treat and is also the comic that should set the standard for future Futurama comics.
