	G4-TechTV merger is really backward
		G4 sucks the big one, I have to admit that some of the g4 shows are interesting but the reviews these people make are pretty freaking stupid.
		Everything on g4 is exactly the same, they basically kept all of the g4 shows and cancelled half of the techtv shows (thankfully the screensavers is still here).
		G4 was not nearly as powerful as TechTV, and didn't have the same variety of successful shows, so they are mostly keeping G4 shows.

		If there's a problem with the channel is that they don't have enough previews of games that are coming out.
		Keep in mind that the channel is so new that they don't have too much original programming and that they hopefully get a new episode of their shows out once a week.
		All they need to do is come up with some more shows because if you've seen most of their stuff earlier in the week, you're bound to see the same stuff, later on that week, so there is no need to tune in until the next week.

		One point I want to make is that the SEGA channel wasn't really a channel that had shows, it was a place were you could connect your Genisis up and dl Games and play them intill you turned off your system.
		But this G4 channel thing does sound cool cause only gaming show out there right now is Extended Play on Tech TV and even though ts a good show its way to short.
		Over in Europ we have GameNetwork which is pretty cool and had excellent coverage of E3, Tokyo, live feeds of the xbox launch in america and live feeds of the GC launch from japan, all on the launch day, or more to the point..the night.

		TechTV is a channel I've only had for a couple years or so, when I expanded my DirecTV lineup and cut my cable to only local channels.
		A few weeks ago the channel was alerting viewers to an upcoming merger with a channel I'd never heard of called "G4." It didn't even occur to me to be worried.
		In a world where we've got channels exclusive for different kinds of sports, music, even a game show network, there has to be a channel for geeks.

		So I'm flipping through the channels just now and I come across this channel G4 which I have never noticed before (I have Time Warner Digital Cable BTW) and a show is on where two teams are squaring off with Unreal Tournament 2003, Mechwarrior and Capcom VS Snk 2 for points.
		As a matter of fact the channel is great, except Portal.
		G4 is just awful, but it's about games, so I watch it.
