It was known as TechTV Canada until May 28, 2004, at which point it was renamed as a result of the merger between TechTV and G4 in the United States.
Although most links from G4techTV Canada's website redirect to G4, the co-ownership and licensing with the CRTC as a technology-related network prevents the network's name in Canada from being changed.

I've been using "G4TechTV" for a while now, but after examining the G4techTV website, it seems that G4techTV, with the first 't' lowercase, is the official name.
I really have no clue, but it seems to me that G4TechTV would be more correct, but if lowercase is if how they use it it may make sense to use it that way.

G4TechTV has announced that it will not allow the NHL lockout to hurt NHL fans, if it can help it.
To do this, G4TechTV is planning on using either EA Sports' NHL 2005 or Sega Sports' ESPN NHL 2K5 games (the press release does not state which game will be used, but uses an image from Sega Sports' ESPN NHL 2K5) to try and give hockey fans what we want.
G4TechTV plans on playing all 1,230 regular season games on NHL 2005, and run highlights on their daily 'Sweat' program.

Please remember that not all digg users are G4/TechTV viewers, and are confused by some of these stories being digg news worthy.
On the idea of a G4TechTV category...this would move the posts about the channel out of the other categories, but this wouldn't stop them from appearing on the home page.
The main reason for my post was to inform the G4/TechTV posters that the reason some of your stories are getting removed is due to the fact that some people have no idea who Kevin, Pat, Dan, and Leo are and report the links.

 TiVo Community - RCN lineup change for G4TechTV
The past couple of days, I have not been receiving G4TechTV from RCN, in Boston, MA area (Waltham) on either channel 97 (analog box) or channel 117 (analog without box).
According to latest RCN channel lineup for the Boston area, channels 97 and 117 are gone, and G4TechTV is now on channel 78.
I wasn't aware of this change for me (Framingham) until today and assume that it only occured within the last day or so, but I could be wrong (judging from the date of the original post here).

I do agree that reruns sucked, and it's hard to accept the fact that there might be a possibility that G4TechTV will cease the international feed.
G4TechTV has been the worst television viewing experience I have ever had.

I was intrigued by the first episode and had planned on getting the rest of the series when it came out but then bills hit me hard and I had to axe those plans.
I was glad that G4TechTV picked up the series because they don’t edit their shows… technically, they do edit for time.
This is the first series to be aired by G4TechTV to include subtitles of various signs and letters written in Japanese.
