 Mekton Build Example, Page 1
It can transform into a fighter jet for fast deployment and carries a rapid-fire gun pod/rifle (based on the GAU-12 Equalizer 25mm gun pod), a heat knife, an internal missile bay in each leg carrying two missiles (AMRAAMs) and a missile bay in each arm also carrying two missiles (Sidewinders).
Fortunately, if you've been paying attention, the extended range of most Mekton weapons is equal to the primary range squared, so we only need to buy primary range up to 40 hexes (2 km).
Unlike structure and virtually every other system in the game, armor neither provides nor uses spaces - it is simply there, part of the design.

 NFSCars Forums - M 1911 A1 .45 [Update 3 & Renders]
08-14-2003 04:34 AM The M61 Vulcan, GAU-8 Avenger, M134 Minigun, and the GAU-12 Equalizer all look pretty much the same except for caliber and the number of barrels.
So the gun I made could either be a M61 or GAU-12 since it is too big to be a Minigun and too small to be an Avenger.
O.o, a Colt.45 8) The only gun i have ever made was the gatling gun on the missile launcer i made a while back...

GAU-8 Avenger - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Some of the GAU-8/A technology has been transfereed into the smaller 25mm GAU-12/U Equalizer developed for the AV-8B, which is about the same size as the M61 but is considerably more lethal.
The General Electric GAU-8/A Avenger is a 30 mm, seven-barrel Gatling gun that is mounted on the United States Air Force's A-10 Thunderbolt II.
GE has also developed the GAU-13, a four-barreled weapon using GAU-8/A components, which has been tested in podded-form, and the Avenger forms the basis for the Dutch-developed Goalkeeper naval air-defence gun.

M61 Vulcan - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The five-barrel GAU-12 Equalizer 25 mm gun used in the AV-8B Harrier II is a Vulcan derivative, but despite greater hitting power (since it fires a heavier round at virtually the same muzzle velocity) it has yet to find wide application.
Two gun pod versions, the SUU-16/A (Army M12) and improved SUU-23/A (Army M25), were developed in the 1960s, often used on gunless makes of the F-4.

The Vulcan was used on the F-104, F-105 Thunderchief, some F-106A Delta Dart models, the Ling-Temco-Vought A-7 Corsair II, the McDonnell F-4E Phantom II, the General Dynamics F-111, the McDonnell-Douglas/Boeing F-15 Eagle, the Grumman F-14 Tomcat, Boeing/Lockheed/General Dynamics F-16 Fighting Falcon, F/A-18 Hornet and Super Hornet, Italian/Brazilian AMX International AMX, and the F-22A Raptor.
The Vulcan's rate of fire is typically 6,000 rounds per minute, although some versions (such as that of the AMX International and the F-106 Delta Dart) are limited to a lower rate, and others have a selectable rate of fire of either 4,000 or 6,000 rounds per minute.
