	GIR from Invader Zim
		GIR was created by Almight Tallest Red and Purple from spare parts and a few things they had in their pockets, so he can be excused for his eccentricities.
		GIR normally appears as a short cylindrical robot with blue eyes and a high-pitched voice, but when he is put into duty mode his eyes turn red and his voice deepens.
		GIR is one of the most popular characters from the show overall and I have found that in my quotes sections GIR has a majority of the best lines.

		Zim has a goofy sidekick robot named Gir who was taken out of the garbage and given to him when they sent him on his "quest" to conquer Earth.
		Gir is a hilarious character, and is part of what makes theseries so great (he reminds me very much of my cat, I think I would've named her Gir if I had seen any episodes of Zim before I got her).
		Invader Zim is more than just a comedy, the artwork is great and every episode is full of Vasquez's characteristic dark, subtle mockery of all the stupid things about society.

		After landing on earth, Zim tries to blend in with his human disguise and assigns himself to Skool (and no, this is not a typo).
		Zim is incredibly excited to begin his mission, though he has a rather messy history, (Like accidently attacking his own planet on a psychotic spree) and none of the Irkens really want anything to do with him.
		However, Zim is oblivious to the idea that the Tallest see him as a huge joke, and dedicates himself to conquering the "human stinks." He receives a cute, carefree (but incredibly stupid) robot assistant named GIR.

		Invader Zim is what I quote from a magazine I read "the coolest and funniest show to hit Nickelodeon since the 1st season of Ren and Stimpy".

		Upon hearing of Operation Impending Doom II, Zim "quits" being banished and arrives at the Great Assigning where Irken Elite soldiers are chosen to become Invaders, special soldiers whose mission it is to blend in with the indigenous life forms of their assigned planet and collect intelligence.
		GIR is a dysfunctional version of the Irken S.I.R. (Standard Information Retrieval) units given to Irken invaders, but nobody knows what the G stands for.

		Zim has to reprogram his mechanical parents to attend Parent/Teacher night at school, but instead of the training program, GIR changes the screen to his favorite programs (like the Scary Monkey Show).
		Invader Zim is an imaginative and enjoyable cartoon for those adults, like me, who never tire of being a kid once in awhile.

		Zim was amazed at how Peepi's cuteness made the humans weak, so he decided to turn Peepi into a giant mutant hamster that would terrorize the city for him, and the humans would be defenseless against the cuteness of the hamster.

	MMI Movie Review: Invader Zim
		It seemed wrong, and if the rumors of Jhonen Vasquez’s personality not being far from his Zim’ character, it’s amazing that the Nick production building is left standing and not fall victim to one of Vasquez’s life size robot of doom that he’s been working on for such occasions.
		With Zim Vasquez unleashed his demented dreams and acerbic attitude to the planet in the form of an endearing boy and his dog story gone horribly wrong.
		So while we can be certain there will be no more new adventures with Zim, Gir, and the ‘Invader Zim’ world, we can savor the knowledge that we will be able to enjoy one animations best short lived shows in full DVD glory soon and stop having to resort to pirate download sites instead.

		Gir goes from zero to crazy in a matter of seconds, spouting off some of the shows most quotable lines (“It’s got chicken legs!”).
