 ArniesAirsoft: KSC Glock 17
Since that time the Glock has become enormously popular with police officers and as a security arm, due to the ‘safe action’ system which the Glock employs, meaning that it can be carried cocked and locked without fear of accidental discharge (no matter how sexy it looks), and drawn ready to fire.
The KSC Glock chooses to copy the Version III Glock, which incorporates a rail frame for accessories (see www.glockmeister.com for inspiration), and a shaped and contoured grip for a comfy and natural hold.
Stripping the glock is extremely easy and is achieved by removing the mag, cocking the mechanism, pulling down the disassembly tabs (which is hard at first, but gets easier with time), and pushing the slide off the frame.

Glock 34 Specialized Pistol Reviews Forum and Reference Guide
Glock pistols are great and if looked after will give you heaps of shooting enjoyment for many years to come.
I purchased my Glock 34 about a year ago and have shot probably 1,500 rounds through it with cheap rounds and good stuff and have yet to have a problem of any sort.
My 34 will better than put 10 shots into a 3 1/2 - 4 inch group off hand at 50 ft. The 17 was not so good but it does not have the trigger or the sights of the 34 etc. but I could still keep them all on the target.

 Glock 34 Review
The Glock 34 and 35 (in 9mm and.40, respectively) were introduced in 1998 to replace the G17L and 24 "longslide" competition models.
The nooks and crannies (such as between the slide serrations) were left fl, and the barrel was polished to a semi-gloss "fl chrome" type of appearance.
While it wouldn't be my choice for concealed carry due to its size (I'm just not built to conceal a full-size Glock frame), it just the ticket for OWB carry, pistol classes and Steel Challenge matches, where the lower "power factor" of the 9mm is not a disadvantage.

Glock kB! FAQ v1.35   (Site not responding. Last check: )
In general, Glocks tend to contain case failures fairly well, but under some circumstances they can cause injury as well as damage to one's gun.
One can test this by removing the barrel from the Glock, dropping a factory round into the chamber, and observing that there is brass exposed at the six o'clock position.
When I said that was the case, he explained that the oversized chamber of the larger caliber Glocks allows the brass to expand too much to be properly resized near the head, if the loads are warm enough.

Glock definitely has the edge if you are using it as a competition gun.
If you were using it for carry, the 34 is harder to conceal due to the size.
