	GM High Feature engine - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		It was developed by the same international team responsible for the Ecotec, including the Opel engineers responsible for the 54° V6, with involvement with design and development engineering from Ricardo PLC of England.
		In May 2006, GM unveiled a new version of this engine that featured a direct injection system, which GM claims will have 15% greater power, 8% greater torque, and 3% better fuel economy than the current port-injected version.
		Although GM has not officially announced a launch vehicle for this engine, it is widely expected to debut in the second-generation Cadillac CTS.

	Lehigh University - Lehigh student received first prize in a national student design
		GM required the students to satisfy 23 “constraints.” The biggest challenge was to design the access panel in such a way that, once installed, it would not reduce the stiffness of the hood and compromise its structural integrity.
		For their final design, the students chose a prototype access panel door measuring 2.5 feet wide and 1.5 feet high that is bonded by a substructure to the inside of the hood to increase stiffness and rigidity.
		The students turned over to GM the results of their finite element analysis, the method for doing the finite element analysis, the manufacturing process and the prototype.
