		On October 5, 2006 a GMA delegation visited Louisiana to meet with state and federal officials involved in the rebuilding of civil infrastructure from the damage caused by hurricane Katrina.
		In the afternoon the GMA delegation traveled to New Orleans and met with a dozen engineers from the regional office of the US Army Corps of Engineers at their just re-open facility in the city.
