All text (articles) must be licensed under the GNUFDL license.
All photos must be licensed under the GNUFDL license, and I strongly reccomend to dual-license them under the CC-by-sa-2.0 too.
GNUFDL and CC-by-sa are licenses that allow free redistribution and modification of your work, as long as others give you attribution and they share alike.

Text on Comixpedia.org is GNUFDL which roughly means anyone can copy and paste it elsewhere (ok it's more detailed then that...) - it's supposed to be free (as in speech and beer).
We could post this with notice that the artwork is (c) the creator and not subject to GNUFDL.
At time, I did deny permission because I was unsure if the author understand what they are doing leting people insert their material on Comixpedia.

If images cannot be used under the GNUFDL or other license that is compilable with it...than it does not further our goal to provide knowledge of webcomics for the people.
It is in our best interest to persuade artists to license some of their work under the GNUFDL, or maybe provide exclusive artwork to be licensed under the GNUFDL.
If they are unwilling to do that, than we are willing to reach an agreement that the artists and comixpedians can agree on.

In other words, does that book say that you can use segments of it as long as you credit the book?
I don't think that permission can include extra restrictions that aren't in the GNUFDL.
Maybe I just misunderstand what that note means.

Hopefully, people using the material will contribute back their own modifications, additions, etc...
under a Creative Commons, GNUFDL or similar license (clearly stated).
Ideally, one would like to have a common, shared training facility open all year round and assisted by professionals so users may undertake training whenever they need it.

As long as you only take the original texts which were entirely written by you you can of course use your own writings.
Yes, but still I had to name the author (myself), link to the wikipedia and print the GnuFDL.
If you are careful to only include text that you wrote, you are free to relicense it however you like.

I would say yes, but I don't want to step on Kiba's toes.
All texts are automically licensed under the GNUFDL.
So I don't want to step on the author's toes....The only permission I allow is that the text is granted permission under our license which is Here.--Kiba 09:37, 31 December 2005 (EST)

Blizzard Entertainment could be used as the company page perhaps.
Doesn't everything Blizzard post on this website automaticly falls under GNUFDL, and is therefor free to be redistributed?
I mean stuff like The War of the Shifting Sands, where they do add a andcopy2005 Blizzard, but wouldn't this be kind of...

One more thing, how should we add language links?
For example, for GNUFDL text, do we add language links in the reference translations but not the the English original?—Danielwang 00:15, 11 Jul 2005 (UTC)

You can certainly copy and distribute the file.
The GNUFDL has some restrictions on modification but they are nothing onerous.
If you could confirm that, that would be great.

I would love to right a research report and send it to newspapers and my congressmen.
I would even GNUFDL it so others could do the same...:-p (you know, since PD doens't exist, another thing....)
So yeah, in conclusion, someone without computer experince was told to do somethign, did it without thinking or asking (my gf would at least ask if she has to do something she's unsure about, then it becomes the attoney's fault, not her's) someone else who should know more.
