The GPS varsity soccer team took their steps on the soccer field Thursday night, Sept. 21, against Notre Dame, but their hearts were at the “Light the Night” walk for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society at Coolidge Park.
The GPS soccer team and coaches raised $2,500 for the benefit in honor of their teammate Palmer Griffin, who is undergoing treatment at St. Jude’s for leukemia.
