  GUBU - dublin - bars
GUBU began life as a hot spot on the Northside for clubbers gearing up for a night of dancing over the weekend but a few years ago the bar was relaunched as a full time Gay Bar.
The all-new GUBU was created by the owners of The Front Lounge, who put the same care into opening up the exciting, stylish and heady atmosphere of a gay bar to the straight community and making it one of the hippest spots in the city.
GUBU boasts an array of events during the week including an eight piece live jazz band, The Company on Tuesday nights, the highly acclaimed comedy cabaret, Busty's G-Spot on Wednesday nights, an 80s and 90s disco heaven called Kaja Gubu on Fridays nights and the funky beats of DJ Lounge on Saturday nights.

Gubu sir, yur wife is delicious and adorable, she hasn't a single fault.
Gubu hangs each one on the back of the stage, from left to right, first Pearse, next DeValera, next Haughey, next Adams, before finally unrolling his own green pinstriped image with gold crown and green umbrella, under a shower of banknotes, clutching a fistful of them, placing this parchment in the middle of the others.

Byodo Gubu was an eminent monk of the Tendai sect who one day experienced enlightenment (i.e., "the realization of the impermanence of our evanescent existence") and at that moment left everything, went out dressed as he was and wandered to the river.
Recognizing the old emaciated monk and overcome with pity, Acarya descended to the courtyard to bring Gubu into shelter.
The learned monk Zoga Shunin was the son of an imperial advisor who experienced an "awakening of faith" and sought "a chance to make himself unwanted." At the conclusion of a monastic disputation, when leftover food was tossed into the courtyard for beggars, Zoga darted out of the congregation to grab and eat it.
