		I have an old gwbasic prog I wrote 20 yrs ago for a fundraiser for a local orchestra, where I keep track of 2000 coupons & 200 sellers.
		It is not the computer hardware, it is GWBASIC limited.
		Actually, with gwbasic the limit of all DIM data statements is 64K bytes.

		Some will run under GWBASIC but they all seem to run under Prado BASIC which is a BASICA interpreter.
		Hardly surprising, because it is GWBasic with the copyright notice changed to "PradoBASIC - please send $10 to......etc" This is really easy to do if you have a disk editor but back then a disk editor was really high tech, geeky stuff.
		GWBASIC - Legend has it that it is so named because when the MicroSoft developer first showed it, one of his colleagues said, "Gee Wiz, that's good" and G(ee)W(iz)Basic was born.

		I seem to remember that on other versions of Windows the GWBasic files etc had to be on the root directory - but that doesn't work in XP.
		Basic relies on 'poking' data into certain memory locations and was quite happy to run in Windows 3.1, Windows for Workgroups, 95, 98 and Me. However they changed everything with XP because it was a complete operating system and did not rely on MSDOS to control the basic functions of your PC.
		Gwbasic does run in XP so I put it in the same directory as my.bas files, made an association and hey presto - it runs!

		Armed with one hardcopy of a 2,000 line BASIC program and a copy of the binary for the same I set to work.
