G17 Plus is a political party in Serbia, espousing market liberal economic policies, consisting of former members of the Democratic Opposition of Serbia.
In March 2004, G17 Plus formed a minority government with Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) and a 2-party pre-election coalition of Serbian Renewal Movement (SPO) and New Serbia (NS).
Speaker of National Assembly of Serbia, Predrag Markovic is member of G17 Plus.

G17 Plus and the DSS share a similar stance on economic matters, with both advocating tax cuts and further privatisation, and stressing the need to attract foreign investment.
G17 Plus, on the other hand, which was formed by a group of reformers and can count amongst its members a number of internationally recognised economists, regards the economy as the most important issue.

Belgrade, September 1, 2001 (Beta) - Non-governmental organisation G17 Plus described as "astonishing imprudence" DSS support to the Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS) in preventing the return of Slobodan Vucetic to the position of Judge of the Constitutional Court of Serbia.
G17 says that through this decision, the work of Serbian Constitutional Court is stalled, since there is now no quorum.
G17 pointed out that "thanks to" DSS, those who were prosecuted for rigging the September 2000 elections have still to this day managed to retain their positions on Yugoslavia's Constitutional Court and in the Federal Public Prosecutor's Office.

The party’s leader, Vojislav Kostunica, who is heading the delegation meeting G17 Plus, said today that the discussions would be an exchange of opinions on various important topical issues.
He said that the Democratic Party of Serbia had declined discussion of a post-election coalition because the time for this was after the elections.; Instead, the party has proposed discussions on the constitutional organization of Serbia, relations with the federal state, Kosovo, the regionalization of Serbia and social aspects of privatization and the debt crisis.
This includes the introduction of proportional voting, that Serbia be a single electoral unit, that the threshold vote for a party to be represented in the parliament be reduced from five to two per cent and guaranteed representation for national minorities.
