Scale models of well-known narrow-gauge British protypes are from £1100 manually-controlled and from £1275 with radio, the superb W and L "Countess" from Pearse is £1695.
G Scale, this term encompasses several slightly varying scales roughly at 13.5mm/ft., all running on 45mm track, modelling (mainly) narrow-gauge prototypes.
This scale became very popular on both sides of the Atlantic, and a vast range of equipment is available both ready-to-run and in kit form from many different manufacturers, representing protoypes of European, American and British origin.

Started by the German firm of Lehmann in the 1960s, with a trade name of LGB (which translated means Lehmann Big Railway), G scale is essentially the modelling of narrow gauge railway on track 45mm wide (the same as gauge 1, but to a heavier profile).
G Scale products are long-lasting and reliable, and generally weatherproof making them ideal for outdoor operation.
The quality and variety of LGB products is almost legendary and such has been their success that many other manufacturers have entered the scene, including Playmobil in Germany, and Bachmann and REA in the USA.

LGB's F7 is probably a good one to look at to get an idea of how much it'll be - the AMD103 will have twin motors, lights, etc and most of their similarly equipped locos cost much the same.
I don't think the LGB F-7s were "pricey" considering they were a whopping 1:26, equipped to run in real snow and sit in the sun for days.

'G' gauge is a scale gauge ratio that was developed by LGB in the 1970's.

It is Gauge 1 and the scale is around 1:22.5 which means that the track width is 45mm and the whole layout is freelance metre gauge system using L.G.B.™, Bachmann and Aristo Craft rolling stock.
We looked around for an answer and came up with Hillmans Rail Clamps, and Split Jaw Clamps Rail Clamps which are easy to fit over the existing LGB™ fishplates even when the track is fastened down.
The whole history of this garden railways dates back several years when the owners were in business and lived in the middle part of the country.
