Gabaldon (formerly Sabani and Bitulok) is a 4th class municipality in the province of Nueva Ecija, Philippines.
It was created by virtue of Republic Act 496 from its mother town of Laur.
In December 2004, the town was devastated by the tropical storms Violeta, Winnie, and Yoyong, leaving many dead as the three typhoons make its way through Luzon island.

GABALDON - It was a short hop by helicopter from Dingalan to Gabaldon and we went directly to the relocation site that was already quite lively with lots of people and activities.
Gabaldon was way ahead of Dingalan as far as community and site preparations were concerned because GK and Ateneo had began planning for its reconstruction much earlier.
It was clear that Gabaldon would become a model for the rest of Kalinga Luzon because of the spirit and cooperation of the community and the fact that the relocation site and beneficiaries are ready.

Mayor Dominador Mandia said the project, named Sierra Madre Biodiversity Corridor (SMBC), is being pushed by Conservation International Philippines (CIP) to arrest and reverse the loss of biodiversity by putting the whole stretch of the Sierra Madre mountain range into a solid block of highly protected biodiversity conservation area.
The proposed SMBC will cover Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino and Nueva Vizcaya in Region 2, Aurora, Nueva Ecija and Bulacan in Region 3 and Quezon and Rizal in Region 4.

An onion and garlic research and development center, with a project cost of P53 million, will be established in Gabaldon, Nueva Ecija this year, the government agency overseeing Central Luzon’s economic activities revealed.
According to the Presidential Commission for the Central Luzon Growth Corridor (PCCLGC), the project is a joint undertaking of Nueva Ecija Representative Aurelio Umali, the Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST) in Cabanatuan City and, Gabaldon Mayor Domingo Mandia.
As a support to the project, the commission said that Umali is considering the acquisition of a 55-hectare lot in Gabaldon and a 5-hectare lot in Palayan City for onion and garlic plantations.
